Management Guide and Tutorials
Feature-branch preview: account, organization and roster workflows are available only in the explicitly enabled local development module. Single-event scheduling and a public competition browser, results entry, standings and Elo are available there. Recurring events, portraits, seasonal cards, team board sharing and administration forms are available. Production is unchanged.
Organization setup
- An admin grants a League Manager or Club Manager creation entitlement.
- A League Manager creates a league, dated season and divisions.
- A Club Manager creates a club, its fields and new seasonal teams, assigning a Team Manager during team creation.
- From the team's card, a Team Manager selects Manage roster to build the roster with coaches, managers and players. One person can participate on multiple rosters.
- A League Manager enters eligible teams into divisions. The same seasonal team may compete in more than one league.
- A League Manager creates game fixtures from Schedule; home managers complete scheduling details without changing opponents. On a division card, Generate schedule previews a single or home-and-away round-robin before creating unscheduled fixtures.
Scheduling and public results
Edit, Manage roster (or View roster for read-only access), and View schedule use pencil, clipboard and calendar icons on management cards. Hover for a descriptive tooltip identifying the record; each icon also has an accessible label for keyboard and screen-reader users.
Card Edit icons sit at the bottom-right, before Access assignments and Archive when available. People table actions stay together on one line.
Each team card includes View schedule to open only that team's home games, away games and team-owned events. Historical team cards open its historical schedule. Existing schedule permissions still apply.
Teams can be filtered by league, club, season, division and division gender. Gender comes from the assigned division, not a separate team field. League, season and division choices cascade. Combined competition filters must match the same team entry, not different entries in unrelated competitions. Filters retain their selections when the page is reloaded.
League management groups Seasons by league and Divisions by league and season. Manage competition entries directly inside division cards. Search, sorting, paging and historical views retain these group headings.
Paging includes Previous, numbered pages and Next. The current page is highlighted; longer page ranges keep the first, nearby and last pages visible with ellipses between them. All list pagers use the same layout, record total and disabled Previous/Next controls at their boundaries.
A small Updating indicator appears during background requests, including filter changes. Existing results remain visible and filters stay usable; the indicator clears after requests finish, including failed requests.
Use the Age group filter on Divisions to show one age level. Choices include only age groups present in divisions you can access, and change with Historical records. The filter combines with search and survives reloads.
Management filters and selection lists are restricted on the server to records available to your account. Changing a URL filter does not grant access. Results navigation is scoped to your leagues or teams; the separate public competitions page remains public. When Schedule is filtered to one team, Create defaults to that team as the event owner or home team when permitted.
Open Schedule and Create. League Managers create Game fixtures with a division and two active competition entrants. Team Managers create named practices, scrimmages, tournaments or other events for their assigned teams. Scrimmages are team-owned events and do not count toward league standings. Only League Managers/Admins can create, delete or archive league games. Home Team Managers and their Club Managers can edit game scheduling details; away-side scheduling remains read-only.
Schedule defaults to the existing List view. Use Calendar for a traditional month grid or Week for a weekly time grid. Previous, Next and Today navigate dates; the same search, organization and historical filters apply in every view. Calendar times use your device timezone, shown above the calendar. Select an event for details and Edit event when your permissions allow it. Unscheduled events remain in List view. On small screens, swipe or scroll within the calendar to see all seven days.
On an active division card, League Managers/Admins can select Generate schedule. Choose Single round-robin (each pair plays once) or Home and away (each pair plays twice). The summary shows games per team for the complete selected format, including existing pairings that will be skipped. Review the preview, then select Create fixtures. By default, dates and times remain blank for home managers to set afterward. A home team's default club field preselects the field and location when available. Suggested rounds are shown only in the preview, not assigned calendar dates. Odd team counts have byes. Existing pairings, including archived games, are skipped rather than recreated; a single round-robin matches either home/away direction. Changes to entrants or existing fixtures require a new preview. At most 1,000 candidate games can be generated per batch.
Automatic game scheduling
Each division card shows Games Scheduled: games with an assigned kickoff in that division's season, including completed games. Unscheduled and archived games are excluded.
View division schedule on a division card opens a condensed table of all games you can view in that division's season, including results and unscheduled games. Team abbreviations use the saved short name, or initials when none is saved; hover for the full name. Future and unscheduled games have an edit icon when you have editing permission. Archived games are labelled and remain read-only.
A blocking status overlay appears while generating the fixture preview or creating games. Wait for it to finish before changing parameters or closing the dialog. If a request fails, the error is shown and the controls become available again.
In Generate schedule, enable Automatically choose dates, times and fields. This is optional: leave it off to create matchups only. Choose allowed weekdays (Saturday by default), earliest and latest kickoff (10:00am and 1:00pm by default), and Buffer (minutes), initially 15. All automatic dates and times use the division league's timezone, shown in the preview, not your device timezone.
Kickoffs fall only on the hour or half-hour, within the inclusive kickoff range. A latest kickoff of 1:00pm allows a game to start at 1:00pm and finish later. The saved end time is kickoff plus the division's standard game length plus the buffer. The buffer accounts for half time, possible added time, or any extra buffer and must be a nonnegative whole number of minutes.
The scheduler tries earlier dates and times first, from season start through season end, including dates already in the past. Both kickoff and the buffered end must be within the season's dates. Each team may have at most one game per Monday-Sunday calendar week, considering scheduled games across competitions, in the generating league's timezone. Sunday and the following Monday belong to different weeks; this is not a rolling seven-day minimum.
Fields must exactly match the division's saved field size. The home team's default field is preferred if compatible and available; otherwise, the first available compatible active field in that club is tried, including fields at other club locations. Different numbered fields at the same location can host games simultaneously. The same location and field number shared by multiple clubs is treated as one physical field.
There is no global one-game-per-day or one-game-per-kickoff limit. Many games can run simultaneously when their teams and physical fields are different. If an empty calendar still leaves games unscheduled, check that every home club has an active field of the required size. A larger field is not silently treated as a smaller field.
Field availability considers scheduled, nonhistorical events globally, including other leagues and teams you cannot manage, not only this division. Overlapping team events also block a proposed time. End-to-start adjacency is allowed because the saved end already includes the buffer. A location-only event with no field specified blocks every field at that location during its time range. Existing games without end times reserve their division game length; other events without end times conservatively reserve the rest of their local day. Archived events and events belonging to historical seasons/teams do not reserve fields.
Review proposed kickoff, buffered end and field for every game before selecting Create fixtures. Games without an available date, field or free team week stay unscheduled, with blank times and fields. Both preview and completion report the scheduled and unscheduled counts. The preview explains missing compatible fields or unavailable slots in the Field column for unscheduled games. Existing fixtures are never moved, even if unscheduled. This is an earliest-first, best-effort scheduler, not an optimization guarantee. If entries, venues, settings or global availability change after preview, refresh the preview before creating fixtures.
Manual scheduling edits are allowed to conflict. After saving an edit, a warning reports overlapping field bookings, overlapping team events, or another game for a participating team in the same Monday-Sunday week. Warnings do not reveal another team's private event details. Resolve them by changing the date, time or field. Existing manual permissions and historical read-only rules still apply.
Times use the device timezone shown in the editor and are stored in UTC. The editor shows date, hour and minute only; minutes must be 00, 15, 30 or 45. Game names are derived from the home and away teams, so the name input is hidden for games. Games use an optional duration in whole minutes instead of an end-time input; a start time is required when setting a duration. Other event types retain an end-time input. Game duration also determines when a result can be finalized. A fixture may remain unscheduled with all times blank. End must follow start; arrival must not follow start. Game kickoff must fall within the season in the league's timezone. New forms select a dropdown's only permitted assignment automatically; existing empty fields are not changed.
Repeat an event
In Create event, open Repeat and choose Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Set the interval, then either the total number of events (including the first) or an inclusive last date. Choose a US timezone from the dropdown, including Arizona and US territories. Your device's US timezone is selected automatically when supported; otherwise choose one explicitly. Select Preview series to review every date and time; Back keeps your entries without saving. Confirm series creates all events together. Series are limited to 104 events and a two-year range.
Repeats keep the same local wall time across daylight-saving changes. A nonexistent spring-forward time is skipped and called out in the preview; a repeated fall-back time uses the earlier instant. Monthly repeats use the last day in shorter months, so January 31 becomes February 28 then March 31. Duration and arrival lead time are preserved.
Editing a recurring event defaults to Only this event. Choose This and remaining unchanged upcoming events to preview a batch change instead. Cancel remaining events also requires confirmation. Past, scored, cancelled and individually changed occurrences are preserved; each event's roster stays independent. Original repeat settings describe how the series was generated, not a new rule that recreates events. Only League Managers and Admins create or cancel game series. Home-side managers may edit permitted game scheduling details.
Home Team Managers may edit game times, location, arrival notes and home jersey, not opponents, division or away jersey. Away managers are read-only. Each occurrence copies the participating teams' active rosters once; later team-roster changes do not replace those snapshots. Schedule cards provide a separate event-roster button for each participating team.
Event details, editing forms, rosters and results show a small, read-only Event ID for reference. Event tables also include this identifier. Previews for new events show Not assigned until the events are created.
Manage event roster lets that team's managers add or remove memberships and edit occurrence-specific jersey numbers and positions. Select active same-club roster sources to add regular members or guests; guest status and source team are shown explicitly. Changes never alter the underlying team roster or the opponent's event roster. Opponent and historical rosters are read-only. Removed memberships remain archived; only Admins can reactivate them. A transferred person remains in existing snapshots, but cannot be added as a new old-club guest or copied into a new old-club occurrence.
Available event-roster additions must still belong to the participating team's club. Players qualify using their source team's age group and active division gender: younger youth teams may play up, gender must match, and Co-ed accepts either gender. Adult requires Adult; Open accepts any age. Coaches and managers are subject only to the club restriction. For events without a division, eligibility uses the participating team's active divisions. Existing occurrence snapshots are preserved.
Team and event rosters have live people searches, including separate searches for available additions. Matching is case-insensitive and can include names, emails, roles, jersey numbers and positions shown in the list. Filtering only hides rows: selections and unsaved edits remain, and saving still includes the entire roster.
The splash page links to Leagues and Results, a read-only public browser requiring no sign-in. It includes current and past seasons, including archived competition history, and their divisions, games and recorded results. Future seasons are not published here. Contacts, people, rosters and private event notes are never included.
After kickoff, Schedule cards include a result section. Home Team Managers, their Club Managers, League Managers and Admins can record scores for active games; away managers can only view them. Choose Provisional while checking a score, Final when complete, or Void to withdraw it. A scheduled end must have passed before a result can become Final.
Results and Standings lets every signed-in account browse leagues, seasons and divisions, including historical seasons and future fixtures. The public competition page shows the same division standings without requiring an account, but excludes future seasons. Missing results are not 0-0 draws; provisional results do not count, and void or archived results are not published publicly.
League and season tables include division and team counts; division tables include team counts. Counts follow your competition access and teams are distinct within each row, even across several seasons. Removed competition entries are not counted. Games Scheduled counts nonarchived games with an assigned kickoff. Games Played counts those completed with a nonarchived Final result. These counts include only games you can view within each row's competitions.
Club Managers have a Club teams shortcut in Results and Standings. Team Managers have My teams with direct season/division standings links for their assigned teams, without a team table. These shortcuts stay within Results and Standings and link each team's competition entries directly to division standings and game results, including historical competitions when Show historical is enabled. By default, historical teams and divisions are hidden. Accounts with both roles see both shortcuts.
Standings count only completed Final games. Use Rank standings by to switch between Tiebreaker rules and Elo only. Elo-only ranking uses highest rating first, with equal ratings sharing rank; it does not change points or saved rules. Default points are 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss; points, goal difference, goals scored and then fewest goals against determine rank, with remaining ties sharing rank. Elo begins at 1500 with K=20 and no home advantage. Everyone can view the rules; only Admins can change league-wide values using Standings rules. Corrections, withdrawals, canceled games and rule changes recalculate standings and Elo in kickoff order.
Personal and team access
New accounts start without management privileges. Your profile shows your assigned roles and links to the records you can manage. Player Managers may edit assigned people's details, but cannot assign teams.
Same-team directories expose only permitted contact information, not private birth dates, addresses or emergency contacts. The Results tab is visible to every signed-in account. Opponent event rosters are read-only for a participating team's managers.
History and safe editing
Archived records are hidden by default and available in a read-only historical view. Only admins restore explicit archives. A team entered into multiple leagues remains active while an associated season is active. Each season has an independent roster; entering a later season does not automatically carry forward the old roster.
Choose a tab and record type, then use Search and the sort control. League forms provide state and timezone dropdowns for the United States and U.S. territories; timezone choices use IANA region/city names so daylight saving rules are handled correctly. Assignment window start and end use separate month and day dropdowns; day choices follow the selected month, including February 29. Windows can cross the year boundary, such as November through February. Dates display as month names and days, such as August 1. Create and Edit show labeled forms with required fields. Add a club location before creating a team, and enter an existing account's email as its manager. New teams display a draft-roster reminder until a coach is added. Use Access assignments to grant or revoke permitted roles.
People are listed in a simple table with contact details, birth date, read-only timestamps and permitted actions. On smaller screens, scroll the table horizontally. Search, sorting and historical filters still apply.
On Players, filter by the person's current Club, then choose a Team from that club. The player's Edit modal shows the current club and all current teams as read-only information; use club assignment and roster workflows to change them. Unassigned club finds people without an active club; Unassigned team finds people without a current roster membership, including club members waiting for a team. Combine a club with Unassigned team to find that club's available people. Past and future season rosters do not count as current assignments. These filters retain your existing access permissions and persist when reloading.
Clubs have an optional Short name / abbreviation, such as CVFC for Cedar Valley FC. Set it in the Create or Edit form; it appears in the club's card details without replacing its full name.
Teams also have an optional Short name / abbreviation, such as CVFC U10B Bronze for Cedar Valley FC U10 Boys Bronze. It is editable independently of the full team name and the club's abbreviation.
Schedule offers League, Season, Division, Club and Team filters. Games only excludes practices, scrimmages and other event types in every schedule view. Table view shows a compact paged list with Event ID, abbreviated home/away teams, date, time and location. For team-owned events, Home shows the owning team and Away is blank. Select an Event ID to view details and permitted editing. Times use your device timezone. Location shows only the campus and field number; the campus name opens Bing Maps using its saved address when available. Month and week calendars use team abbreviations, falling back to initials when no short name is saved. Hover over a game for the full team names. Team choices match the selected league, season, division and club together, using authorized matching events, not an either/or match. League narrows the season choices; season narrows the divisions. Club narrows the team choices. Club and team matches include home, away and team-owned events. Competition filters apply to games; clear them to include practices and other non-game events. Choices come from schedules you can access, and selections survive reloading. Historical records uses the same filters for historical events.
Club cards list the club's teams you can access by name in a table on the right, stacked below the club details on narrow screens. Teams are grouped into collapsible age groups with team counts, ordered from youngest to oldest, then Open, Adult and Unassigned age group. Teams you can manage link directly to their management view; other teams remain plain text. Active lists hide historical teams; historical club cards show historical teams.
Team cards list Competition associations with links to each associated league, season and division's standings and results. Historical associations are hidden in this section.
Team cards show a table of active roster players on the right, with jersey numbers and positions. Names link to the person's management view only when you can edit that person and the team is active. Other names remain read-only, and no private contact details are included in this table. On narrow screens it appears below the team details.
Roster editing is integrated into each team's Manage roster dialog, not a separate Rosters tab. Roster season defaults to the current season. Switch seasons to prepare an upcoming roster or view read-only history. Switching with unsaved changes asks for confirmation. Players and coaches may join multiple teams in the same club, but cannot join another club's overlapping active roster. Ended seasons no longer block assignments; club membership remains until an approved transfer. An approved transfer permits the new club's roster while retaining the former club's history. Select multiple existing people and a role, then Add selected people. Add new person opens a separate dialog for first/last name, required email and applicable league season. This action immediately assigns a genuinely new person to the club and sends an account invitation; it is not discarded when the roster dialog closes. The new person appears selected in Existing people; choose a role under Add people and add them to the roster. Both the roster table and picker show email addresses. A person may hold different roles. Edit jersey numbers and positions directly, select multiple memberships to remove, then Save roster to apply the entire batch together. Replace the final coach or manager in the same batch before removing their membership. Dialogs have both a top-right X and the existing bottom Close button.
Removed memberships are archived so event snapshots retain their source. Only an admin can reactivate an archived membership. Unrelated people are not exposed in the existing-person picker. Members without management rights see View roster instead, with no editing controls. Existing people contains only people currently assigned to this team's club. A transferred person's old roster entries remain intact, but no new entries can be added to teams in their previous club.
Club cards include a Club locations table. Add location associates an existing permitted campus; Create location adds a campus and links it to that club. Remove unlinks only that club, preserves history and makes its fields at that campus unavailable. Adding the location again restores the same association. Other clubs sharing the campus are unaffected.
Addresses on club and location cards open Bing Maps in a new tab. Demo venues use real public park addresses; their demo club associations and numbered fields are fictional, not reservations or affiliations.
Location cards identify their associated club or clubs. Use the Club dropdown above the list to filter locations by a club you can access. The selection survives refresh. Each location card has a table of numbered club fields and notes on the right, stacked below the details on mobile. Authorized managers can select a field number to edit it, use Add field to create one for an authorized associated club, or archive it from its row. Admins can expand Archived fields to restore a field. Separate Club locations and Club fields tabs are no longer needed.
Create multiple club fields at a location with distinct field numbers such as 1, 2 or 3A, plus optional notes and a field size of 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 or 11v11. Field type is Grass, Artificial or Court; existing fields default to Grass. Sizes and types appear in location-card tables. Club cards maintain the association between a club and a campus. Team editors offer an optional Default club field from any active location in that club. New home games and team-owned events preselect that field and location, but either can be changed or cleared. Existing events are not changed by a team default.
Leagues, clubs, teams and people show an Access assignments icon button when you have permission to manage their direct access. It opens a dialog scoped to that record, with current assignments and grant/revoke actions. It does not change inherited permissions or global Admin access. League and club managers are assigned by Admins, team managers by Club Managers or Admins, and player managers by authorized team/club managers or Admins. Existing last-manager protections still apply. Access assignments and Archive are icon buttons at the bottom-right of each card (or in the action cell for people). Hover for a descriptive, record-specific tooltip; both buttons also have screen-reader labels.
League cards show a table of active seasons on the right, with start and end dates. Select a season name to open its management view. Explicitly archived and ended seasons are excluded; future seasons remain available. On narrow screens the table appears below the league details.
Season cards similarly show active divisions in a table on the right, including gender, age group, standard game length and field size. Select a division name to manage that division. On narrow screens the table appears below the season details.
Divisions have a standard game length in minutes and a field size (5v5, 7v7, 9v9 or 11v11). Choosing an age group in a new division fills its defaults; League Managers and Admins can override them for that division. Editing a division's age group does not replace its saved settings. These standards do not set or change scheduled game durations.
In Administration, choose Age-group standards to edit defaults for new divisions. Saving does not update existing divisions. Initial game lengths are 60 minutes for U4-U12, 70 for U13, 80 for U14-U15, and 90 for U16-U22, Open and Adult. Initial field sizes are 5v5 for U4-U6, 7v7 for U7-U8, 9v9 for U9-U12, and 11v11 for U13-U22, Open and Adult.
Admins can remove a standard with its row's Remove button and add missing U4-U22, Open or Adult standards with Add standard. Save standards applies all changes together. Removing a standard does not remove the age group or change existing divisions; new divisions at that age need manually entered game length and field size until a standard is added again.
Division cards show active competition entries on the right. League Managers and Admins use Add team on the division card to select a qualified team. There is no separate Competition entries tab. A team can enter only one division per league season, but may enter another league or another season.
In Add team, options marked [Other league] already have an active entry in another league during an overlapping season. This is allowed. Selecting one displays those league, season and division names. The target league and season are shown explicitly above the picker.
Set the team's Age group on its team card. Numbered youth divisions accept teams of the same or younger age (U10 may enter U11, not the reverse). A missing age group must be filled before entering an age-restricted division. Open accepts any age, including an unset age; Adult accepts only Adult teams. Gender is not an additional placement restriction.
Use the remove icon beside a team to remove its active placement. This archives the entry without deleting seasonal rosters or game history. Readding that team to the same division restores its entry and roster. Age eligibility and one-division-per-season rules are checked again on save, including restores. Team or division age edits cannot invalidate active entries.
Delete unused record is available only when no child records or other associations exist, including archived associations. Archive records that have been used instead. An otherwise empty league or club may still be deleted when it has only administrative grants or default settings.
Change parent relationships by creating the new association and archiving the previous one, rather than silently transferring dependent history. A stale edit is rejected with reload guidance. Records with domain associations must be archived instead of deleted.
Portraits and seasonal cards
Use the separate camera and player-card icon buttons in People or a managed team roster. Each opens its own dialog with a descriptive tooltip identifying the person. On your account page, choose Your photo or Your player cards. Portraits accept JPEG or PNG up to 5 MB. Images are resized and metadata is removed. You, your assigned Player Managers, your Team/Club Managers and Admins can replace your portrait. Same-team directory members can see roster portraits.
Admins and Team/Club Managers can upload or generate cards for players, coaches and managers. Choose the team and league season; a single available choice is selected automatically. Upload an existing JPEG, PNG or PDF, or Generate printable card. Generation requires name, portrait, date of birth, team and club. Add missing personal details through the person/account editor first.
Each team and league season has one current card. Replacing it requires confirmation and does not affect cards for other seasons or teams. Generated cards preserve the details at generation time; regenerate after changes when needed. Open printable card and use your browser's Print command to print or save as PDF. A generated card does not certify league registration or eligibility.
Cards are visible only to Admins, the person and their scoped Team/Club Managers. Player Manager and League Manager roles alone do not grant card access. PDFs are download-only and are not malware-scanned; only open files from a trusted source. Photos and cards require sign-in and are not public links.
Club assignments, transfers and invitations
A person has one current club globally, with dated assignment history. People cannot select or approve their own club. Club Managers and Admins use Manage club people on the club card to find people by exact email or full name, assign unassigned people, or request transfers. Team Managers can add existing club people to rosters but cannot change club assignments.
The destination manager selects a league season in which the destination club has an active team entry. The league's Assignment window start and end fields use recurring MM-DD dates, defaulting to 05-01 through 08-01. Both dates are included, evaluated in the league timezone. Windows that cross New Year are supported. Current and future seasons may be selected; ended or archived seasons cannot authorize assignments.
Unassigned people can be assigned immediately during the window. Transfers require approval by the current club's manager or an Admin, and the selected window must still be open at approval. Pending requests may be rejected or cancelled without changing anyone's club. Existing team rosters, competition rosters and event snapshots are preserved.
Add new person checks the email case-insensitively. If it exists, the existing person is reused, with a transfer request when they belong to another club. Conflicting duplicate records require Admin resolution. A genuinely new email receives an invitation naming the league, season, club and optional team. Its single-use link expires after 24 hours and lets the recipient set a password and verify their email in one step. Accepting an invitation grants no management permissions.
Failed email delivery is reported explicitly. Manage club people lists pending invitation delivery status and provides Resend invitation; resending invalidates the previous link. During upgrade, unambiguous active roster club associations are retained. People already on active rosters across different clubs are left unassigned for a manager to resolve; no roster records are deleted or moved.
Team coaching boards and roster names
In Coachboard, save your board, then open Boards and choose Sharing beside it. Select teams you manage and Save sharing. Uncheck teams to remove access. Team members can load/export the board and use Save As New for a personal copy. You and the shared team's Team/Club Managers can edit the original; only you can delete it or change sharing. Admins can also edit shared boards. Sharing does not expose your other boards.
A view-only label means Save cannot overwrite the original. Local canvas changes are temporary unless you Save As New. Saved boards and exported files include their player names, so share them thoughtfully.
In Team Configuration, apply a formation or add players, then choose Choose roster names. Pick a managed team and assign roster names to individual canvas players. A sole team is selected automatically, and matching jersey numbers suggest assignments. Apply names, then save the board. This does not change the actual roster or canvas jersey numbers. Names are copied, not automatically updated when a roster changes.
The local-only Windows experience remains coachboard-only. Management and its roster/sharing controls require the signed-in online experience.
Accounts and email
Administration has four tabs: Accounts, Age-group standards, Assignments and Reports. Accounts and access assignments use tables. Age-group standards are edited directly in their tab, not in a dialog. Reports show summary totals and active/historical breakdowns for each record type. Email delivery settings remain below the Accounts table.
Assignments can be filtered by Role, Scope type and a Scope name search. Choices come only from assignments you can administer. These filters combine and survive refresh without changing grant or revoke permissions.
Select Create an account on the sign-in page, provide your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters, then confirm the verification email. Forgot password sends a single-use recovery link. Locally, messages are captured in Mailpit rather than delivered to a real mailbox.
Existing local users keep their password and saved-board ownership. Complete the profile setup after sign-in to use management. My profile contains contact details, password changes for local accounts, and links to assigned roles. Microsoft sign-in account fields remain read-only.
Admins can create a local account from the Accounts tab by entering a name and email. The account holder receives a secure link to set a password; new accounts have no management roles until an admin assigns them.
Admins can use Administration, Edit account to change an active local account's names and contact details. Login email and provider identities stay read-only. Send password reset mails a secure link to the account's existing login email; admins do not set or see passwords.
Under Email delivery, admins can edit sender display name/address, save and send a test email to themselves. Use a sender address already approved by the provider. Changes persist and apply immediately. Provider credentials and delivery endpoints remain server-managed. Mailpit uses this display name; Azure controls its delivered display name in its verified sender configuration.
Tutorial delivery
The management account menu includes concise screen guidance. Full interactive management tours will accompany the remaining workflows. The coachboard retains its existing interactive tour. No simulated demonstration videos are included.
